MANAGING PARTNER

Alok Srivastava is a Managing Partner at Kompass Kapital, where he leads the firm’s private equity strategy, drives investment initiatives, and serves on portfolio company boards. With over two decades of experience spanning law, operations, and business leadership, Alok brings a rare combination of legal acumen and executive depth to every engagement.

Prior to his current role, Alok served as Chief Operating Officer of Kompass Kapital, overseeing shared services across the firm’s portfolio, including human resources, marketing, data analytics, and technology. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 14 years at Sprint as Director and Senior Counsel, advising on complex enterprise transactions, strategic alliances, and major sponsorship agreements, while also supporting business development initiatives including spectrum partnerships, wireless network builds, and emerging telematics solutions.

He also served as COO and General Counsel of Union Broadcasting, Inc., an award-winning sports media company operating ESPN-affiliated properties in Kansas City and Louisville, where he guided key business decisions, negotiated high-value partnerships, and oversaw all legal, financial, and regulatory operations.

Alok currently serves on the board of Overland Park Regional Medical Center, and has served as a board member of CommunityAmerica Credit Union since 2017, where he also chairs the Compensation Committee.

He holds a J.D. and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas, along with a B.S. in Business Administration.
